Why choose a waterbed

For more than 30 years we have designed, developed and delivered water beds of very high quality, and our knowledge and expertise in sleep comfort and waterbeds are therefore considerable.
Our experience will benefit our customers from the advices, which we consider one of our most important tasks.

A waterbed will, unlike any other conventional mattress types, always retain its form - in all the time you have it.

Conventional mattresses degenerate over time, while a water mattress always will give your body full and complete support - without pressure points. Due to the fact that your body is hardly affected by reduced blood flow, means that you during sleep move significantly less (approximately only 10-15% compared to a conventional bed). This gives you longer and deeper sleep phases.

The length of these deep sleep phases are where your body really regenerates.

The waterbed is heated to your outer body temperature. This means that your body does not have to produce heat, which in turn means that your heart rate during sleep in a waterbed is a bit lower. This leads to a slightly deeper and more relaxed sleep.

When you sleep on a waterbed in the summer, you may want to set the temperature of the waterbed ½-1 degree down. This way you can still sleep in a comfortable temperature - and still with duvet on - without sweating.

People with joint problems and -pain can also with great advantage sleep in a waterbed, as the therapeutic heat helps to restore the joint fluid faster. This allows you to get out of bed fresher and more movable than when you went to bed.

A waterbed cannot cure a bad back. No beds can. But by sleeping in a waterbed you will see and feel how the whole body and spine are supported. When the spine is fully supported - and without pressure points - your muscles can also relax.

If you have previously been forced to get out of bed sometimes during the night, a waterbed will very likely help you to be able to sleep through.

The water in a water bed is never be changed, just filling a bottle conditioning (anti-algae agent) every 6-12 months (anti-algae agent) that counteract algae and bacteria formation, which forms a little air in the water mattress. A water mattress should NOT "cluck", but be completely silent.

Last but not least, a waterbed is ideal for people with dust allergy. The covers on all our water beds can easily be removed and washed at 60 degrees. Water mattresses can be cleaned with our cleaning products specially developed for the mattresses. This combined with a thorough vacuuming around the bed makes the dust and dust mites eliminated thoroughly.

In a waterbed dust mites can enter the mattress, as is the case in conventional mattresses.
